10th Doctor Amigurumi

I grew up with Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows in my home, but Doctor Who was one of the few I never got to watch and I am now rectifying this problem. Only watched the reboot so far and I love it!

Here we see the Tenth Doctor made into a cute Doctor Doll. ^_^ His hair was a bit of a pain to style (and I wish I could make it better than it is) but that is par for the course with complex hairstyles. I did give him cute little sideburns though! To make his suit and jacket combo work, I attached felt under added dk. brown suit lapels and then used basic satin stitch techniques to give it those lovely blue pinstripes. His sonic screwdriver was made by hand to complete the look cause really, with as much as he uses it, even chibi-10 needs one.

Materials: Yarn, thread, Buttons, Felt, Sculpy, Paint, Wax
Time: 5-7 hours

When asked, the 10th Doctor had this to say about his doll: "Oh brilliant! A miniature me! Did you see Rose? Ha, I'm so gorgeous in this body that even in doll form I look good."
