9th Doctor Amigurumi

Okay, so I mentioned I started watching Doctor Who with the reboot and I've always been told that you never forget your first Doctor. So, naturally, you'd think my Doctor would be Nine.

And you'd be wrong.

I was cheated by being introduced to Ten first and fell in love with him first. that's not to say I didn't love Nine almost right away and hold him with a fondness in my heart. Especially after making his doll.

Nine here features the most dense and shortest haircut of any doll I have made, not including bald people. It took forever to sew on, but was definitely worth it for the end result. I do wish he had a bit more detail to his outfit as he feels somewhat plain, but that was the look the series wanted so not much I could do about that. He does have his large ears though, so hopefully that makes up for it. ^_^

Time: 4-5 hours
Materials: Yarn, Thread, Sculpy, Paint, Poly-fil, Poly beads

When shown the doll, the 9th Doctor had this to say about it: "Well look at that, it's me! Small and portable like for on the go. Fantastic! Even when it's tiny my jacket is still looking good."
